Weight Loss Challenge: Day 3 - Down another 3.4 pounds

Woke up this morning and the scale read 225.2, down another 3.4 pounds since yesterday, and down a total of 9.4 pounds since Monday morning.  That should pretty much be the end of the water weight - now we'll be shifting into fat burning.

This morning's workout was a sprint interval workout followed by some bodyweight training.  Here's what it looked like:

  • 2 minute warmup on stepmill
  • 18 minutes of stepmill intervals between 85% (157bpm) and 96% (178bpm) of my maximum heart rate (185)
  • 5 minutes of static stretching
  • 11 minutes of bodyweight training - alternating mixed-grip chin-ups and dips with a 25-lb plate around my waist

Total time in the gym: 36 minutes

Tonight I'll be back with today's food consumption
